Professor featured in Billboard, discusses fan-artist relationships

Stever, author of “The Psychology of Celebrity,” specializes in studying fan behavior and parasocial relationships. In this article, she uses her expertise to discuss the ongoing conversation of fan behavior and new artists, pointing to the need of some fans to feel close to their favorite artists for comfort or connection.
